Deep Valley Technology operates private event signup systems (such as poker nights, movie nights, and similar social gatherings) hosted at subdomains of thesturms.cloud. All SMS messages are sent by Deep Valley Technology.

What We Collect

When you sign up for an event through one of our applications, we collect the following information:

• First name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional, only if you opt in to SMS notifications)

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to operate our event signup systems:

• Authentication: Sending one-time login links via email or SMS
• Event notifications: Sending reminders about upcoming events (event day reminders, weekly reminders, and new event alerts)
• RSVP management: Sending event invitations and processing replies (e.g., reply YES to sign up, NO to decline)
• Event management: Tracking signups, alternates, waitlists, and attendance

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties
• We do not use your information for marketing or advertising purposes
• We do not share your data with any external parties beyond the services required to deliver messages (Twilio for SMS delivery, email delivery providers)

Data Retention

Login tokens and authentication logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. Your account information is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Program Description

Deep Valley Technology operates private event signup applications for recurring social events (poker nights, movie nights, and similar gatherings). By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages related to event coordination from Deep Valley Technology, including one-time login codes, event invitations, RSVP confirmations, event reminders, and new event alerts.

Opt-In Methods (How You Give Consent)

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Deep Valley Technology through the following methods:

• Website registration: When you create an account on one of our event applications (e.g., poker.thesturms.cloud), you may provide your phone number and consent to receive SMS notifications. The sign-in page displays the following disclosure before account creation: "SMS Notifications: After creating an account, you can opt in to receive poker event announcements and RSVP reminders via SMS. SMS notifications are off by default. Message frequency: 1–4 per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
• SMS reply (keyword opt-in): When an event administrator sends an event invitation to your phone number, you may reply YES to sign up for the event or NO to decline. Replying to an invitation constitutes consent to receive follow-up messages related to that event (such as confirmations, reminders, and status updates). Only users who have been pre-approved and added to the system by an administrator will receive invitations.

Consent is not a condition of participation in any event. You may use email-only notifications instead of SMS at any time.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on event schedules. Typical volume is 1 to 4 messages per month. You may receive:

• One-time login links when you request to sign in (on demand)
• Event invitations when a new event is scheduled (up to 1 per event)
• RSVP confirmations when you sign up or decline (1 per action)
• Weekly reminders when an event is upcoming (up to 1 per week)
• Event day reminders on the day of an event (up to 1 per event)
• Waitlist/alternate promotion notifications if a spot opens up (occasional)
